Black Flag was a punk band that formed in 1977 with original member Greg Ginn - guitar, Chuck Dukowski - bass, Robo - drums, and Keith Morris - singer. The lineup changed on a fairly regular basis. Henry joined the band onstage for a song in 1981 and the rest is well, history. Until the demise of the band in 1986 they toured extensively sometimes playing three states in 24 hours, Rollins details the filth and starvation of those years in his book "Get In The Van" also available @ 2.13.61.com. The Rollins band is actually just Henry in a 'one man band' get up, he has cymbals that he claps between his legs, a harmonica in his mouth and a banjo.

The original Rollins band was the best hardest reassemblation of DNA and other particulars to ever rock your town. The lineup consisted of: Rollins on vocals, Chris Haskett on guitar that would make pus spurt out your eyes, Andrew Weiss on electrifing bass (later Melvin Gibbs took over the bassist duties), Sim Cain pounding the skins and Theo Van Rock on sound. Their most successful and IMO best album is "End of the Silence." After 10 years of intensive touring and making good noise the band is no more. The new band lineup includes: Rollins, Jim Wilson, Marcus Blake, Jason Mackenroth. The music is more rock n roll, definitely worth checking out.
